A Model of Leadership and Volunteerism
Currently pursuing higher education in Shariah and Law, Naazih is recognized as a role model for his initiative, courage, and dedication to volunteer work. His kindness and industrious nature have earned him immense popularity among both his lecturers and fellow students.
Naazih views IUM as a leading institution in the Maldives, not only for Shariah and Law but across various academic fields. He highlights the university’s commitment to Islamic values and its strong connection to Maldivian society.
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Naazih hopes to see the university’s administrative systems further strengthened, specifically envisioning an environment that is more integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI). His vision for a better campus also includes practical improvements for students, such as a high-quality canteen and expanded parking facilities.
With a firm determination to pursue further research in the legal field, Naazih offers valuable advice to his peers:
“The time spent in higher education is the best opportunity one will ever have. It is a ‘golden opportunity’ to learn new things and acquire essential life skills.”
He emphasizes that taking a lead in university activities boosts self-confidence and fosters trust and strong relationships within the student community.
Faith and Resilience
Reflecting on life’s challenges, Nazeeh believes that placing one’s trust in Allah and facing difficulties with courage is the key to finding the path to success. Today, Naazih is more than just a student; he is a young man demonstrating courage, hope, and a passion for service.
Speaking to State of Maldives, a senior lecturer at IUM noted that Naazih’s excellence extends beyond academics. The lecturer described him as a highly active student who plays a leading role in social and extracurricular activities organized by the university. With his strong moral character and ability to collaborate with others, he is seen as a promising young leader who will provide valuable service to the nation in the future.
